How much time do you make for your self? Really think about it?
You work, are a parent, support your friends and family, never say no, always there to help, look after everyone else.
Its ok to take time out for your self and love your self.
If you don't take care of your self physically and mentally you will start to find it hard to do your every day tasks.
sometimes life can have extra stresses, its just admitting that and taking time out for you. A healthy mind and body makes a better you.
When your constantly on a to do list it can be never ending, you'll never be at the top of that list. It takes a toll on your mind and body, you could get headaches a lot, stomach ache, heavy shoulders, anxiety and much more. These are signs of your body saying you need to stop and take some time for your self. "It's a not a luxury, it's a must which you shouldn't feel guilty about."
Taking time of yourself has psychological and physical benefits. If you give yourself a break you'll feel refreshed and happier.
It's all about maintaining a good sense of self. If you don't have 'me time' you can get resentful and feel like a dogsbody.
When you focus on an activity just for you, stress levels go down and you have time to recharge the batteries.
So what is me time???
Well it's NOT tidying the kids' bedrooms or going through emails. It means different things to different people. It could be a massage or something you enjoy.
It's important to take time for yourself even if it's only half an hour a week.
If you come and book in a massage with me it could be 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes in a lovely relaxing room, with soothing music, I can help take tension away and help relax you and help you calm your mind and centre your self.
